We offer a premier training program in Biomedical Informatics and Data Science (BIDS) for the healthcare industry, offering Master’s and PhD degrees that are accredited by the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) and the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics & Information Management Education (CAHIIM). We currently have 70 graduate students with over 25 graduate courses in clinical data science, digital health, and informatics leadership.
Get involved:
- Sign up for a class on Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) (ME 250.952 Leading Change and ME 250.955 Applied Clinical Informatics) in SEAM using your tuition remission. Courses are held online in the evening.
- The DOM offers a data science program for the Osler residents and offers master’s degrees for fellows in the T32 program.
- For DOM faculty, we conduct special research projects on predictive modeling and operational intelligence under the guidance of our Vice Chair for Operations, Dr. Stephen Berry.
